Mount Aloysius College Campus Police & Safety Department is accepting applications for part-time and casual Special Police Officers for night and weekend shifts.

The Special Police Officer will provide a safe and secure learning and working environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Policing duties include but are not limited to: vehicular and foot patrols of campus buildings and grounds, enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, as well as College promulgated rules and regulations, investigation of crimes, completion of police reports, and testifying in court.

High School Diploma or GED required. Act 120 Municipal Police Training or PA State Police Academy required. Three (3) years law enforcement experience required, preferably in a College or University setting. Valid PA Driver’s License and current CPR/AED & First Aid certification required.

Employment conditional on satisfactory completion of a psychological evaluation, criminal, child abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances. Part-time position offers approximately 24 hours per week.
