Mount Aloysius College invites applications for 9-month (mid-August to mid-May) full-time Circulation Technician to join its Library staff on or before August 19th, 2019

The Circulation Tech is responsible for all circulation activities to include: staffing the circulation desk, checking in/out library materials; assisting patrons; hiring, training, and scheduling student workers to ensure appropriate coverage; and working within the Integrated Library System Database. This position is a working supervisor and is included in the staff complement. Position normally works Sunday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with 33 non-class days working 9:00-5:00, including 5 Fridays.

 
Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience in a library or public service setting preferred; experience with scheduling and supervision of others preferred. Knowledge of automated library system and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems preferred. Strong interpersonal and both oral and written communication skills required.
