The School of Nursing at Mount Aloysius College seeks highly qualified individuals with medical-surgical nursing experience to join our team of faculty in the Associate Degree Program beginning Spring 2020 semester.

Current Opening.  An open position beginning in January 2020 offers a regular, full-time 9 month appointment from August – May with a workload of 24 credit hours or equivalent. The successful candidate will be responsible to teach undergraduate theory, online and clinical courses, primarily in fundamentals, adult, geriatric, and medical/ surgical topics; develop curricula, and assess learning outcomes. Also responsible to hold regular office hours, advise students academically and perform assigned committee work.
Qualifications.  Doctorate preferred (Doctoral degree [PhD, DNP, EdD] earned or in final semester/ABD with pending graduation date).  Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) required.  Prior classroom and clinical teaching experience at the collegiate level strongly preferred. Valid, unencumbered license as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse in Pennsylvania required.
