Mount Aloysius College invites applications from human resources professionals to join our team in the newly developed full-time position of Recruiting & Employment Specialist.


This position will support the recruitment and hiring of regular full and part-time faculty and staff at the College.  Specific duties to include development and revision of job descriptions, position announcements and ad placement.  The incumbent will work closely with Search Committees and Hiring Managers to ensure proper Search processes and documentation.  Develops and processes paperwork for new hires, promotions and transfers.  Enters and maintains information in the College’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) including Sage HRMS, Cyber Recruiter and Perform Yard. 

Bachelor's degree in human resources or business related field and three – five years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems required.  Above average verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills required.   Well-developed writing skills (spelling, grammar, punctuation, editing and proof-reading) are essential to this position.  Demonstrated ability to prioritize, maintain confidentiality and manage a fast-paced, high volume workload with little to no supervision is required.  SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through HRCI strongly preferred.  Experience in Higher Ed human resources a plus.
