Current Opening

Mount Aloysius College invites applications from ACT 120 Certified Law Enforcement Officers who enjoy working in a College/University environment to join our team of Police and Safety professionals.   The department of Campus Police & Safety has an immediate opening for a FULL-TIME Campus Police Officer.

Campus Police provide a safe and secure learning and working environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors.  Policing duties include but are not limited to: vehicular and foot patrols of campus buildings and grounds, enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, as well as College promulgated rules and regulations, investigation of crimes, completion of police reports, and testifying in court.


High School Diploma or GED required. Act 120 Municipal Police Training or PA State Police Academy required. Three (3) years law enforcement experience required, preferably in a College or University setting. Valid PA Driver’s License and current CPR/AED certification required.

Employment is contingent on satisfactory completion of a psychological evaluation, criminal, child abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances. Full-time position is 40 hours per week and eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement and tuition remission.
