Mount Aloysius College is seeking candidates for a part-time, 9- month, faculty position as Instructor for the Surgical Technologist program in DuBois, PA beginning in August 2024. 

The part-time Instructor is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of students in the lab and/or clinical settings.  Will complete departmental duties and administrative tasks as assigned.  Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to Noon during the fall semester. Spring semester will be 6:30 a.m. to Noon three days per week and 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. two days per week.

Minimum Qualifications

CST Certification and one year of current operating room experience required; associate degree or higher and clinical teaching experience preferred.  Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word is necessary, as well as demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.

This part-time position is not eligible for remote work.  This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time; all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of their application.
